More Lies

What people are hearing about me is just really vicious slander. It sounds like Mindfreedom International and maybe other groups I've linked to in the past are being slandered as a cult. Mindfreedom is psychiatric consumer/survivor/ex-patient group not connected to the church of Scientology or any other religious group. People might find a wide variety of alternatives like acupuncture, yoga or meditation helpful in dealing with mental health problems, it's each individuals personal choice. Mindfreedom International is a group that's made up of those individuals that advocates for the rights of people with psychiatric labels to make those choices. The same is true of the Freedom Center a really incredible peer support group, there's no link to any cult.

Personally I'm completely non-religious. I have no belief at all in any kind of supernatural being or beings. I have no superstitious or magical beliefs. I don't believe the carrying of a lucky charm, the performance of any kind of ritual or the position of a planet would have any influence at all on any future event. Anything being said to the contrary is just complete and total bullshit.

Scientology is pretty much the straw man for psychiatrists, who will make any attempt to smear somebody or some organization that doesn't agree with them.

Exactly, instead of engaging in a debate or addressing criticisms of psychiatry they just slander you as being brainwashed and having beliefs influenced by a cult.
